IOWA CITY, Iowa. (WOWT) – The Iowa Division of Corrections has introduced the dying of an inmate on account of COVID-19.
Robert Frank Taylor, 72, was pronounced lifeless on account of issues regarding the virus and different preexisting circumstances on Sunday, Jan. 31. It’s reported round 8:45 p.m. on the College of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Taylor was serving a life sentence for first-degree homicide from Black Hawk County. He was incarcerated on the Iowa Medical and Classification Middle and began his life sentence on Jan. 26, 1980.
Taylor’s dying is the division’s 17th dying in relation to the virus.
