Ten New York college students who acquired their first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine acquired full scholarships to attend a public school or college within the state.

The primary spherical of “Get a Shot to Make Your Future” scholarship lottery winners was introduced Wednesday by Governor Andrew Cuomo. This system was launched final week to supply a further incentive for younger individuals between the ages of 12 and 17 to get vaccinated.

The highest 10 winners are Liam Burke, Westchester; Charlotte D’Agostino, Bronx; Chase French, Penfield; Adam Judson, Albany; Hannah Lee, Westbury; Jack Lucchesi, Victor; Jack McAuliffe, Chazy; Ariana Nasr, Bayside; Peter Smith, Syracuse; and Bai Tang Jiang, in Queens.

Winners obtain a 4-year scholarship from any State College of New York or Metropolis College of New York faculty. The scholarship covers tuition, room and board. Cuomo stated it is price round $ 100,000.
